一、基本形式与含义

形容词和副词的比较等级分为原级，比较级和最高级。

比较级和最高级的构成一般是在形容词和副词后加-er和-est，多音节词前加more和most。

👏句型结构分别是：

1). 原级 (和……一样): as+adj./ adv.的原级+as

2). 比较级 ( 比…更…): adj./ adv.的比较级+than

3). 最高级 ( 最…): the + adj./ adv. 的最高级+in/of...(比较范围)

二、原级的用法

1). A+be+as+原级+as+B，意为：A和B一样...🌰栗如：

Tom is as old as Kate.

Her skin is as white as snow.

Alice runs as fast as Mike.


2). A+be+not+as/so+原级+as+B 意为：A不如B…(等同于比较级)

This room is not as/so big as that one.

= That room is bigger than this one.

This book isn't as interesting as that one.

= That book is more interesting than this one.


三、比较级的用法

1). 基本句型: 比较级+than

Susan is happier than Jane.

His brother is younger than me.

Beijing is more beautiful than Osaka.


2). 比较级+and+比较级，表示“越来越……”；若形容词/ 副词为长音节词，则用more and more+原级；

The earth is getting warmer and warmer.

She is becoming more and more beautiful.

It's becoming more and more difficult to find a job.

3). the+比较级，the+比较级，表示“越……越……”；

The more, the better.

The better I knew him, the more I liked him.

The more difficult the questions are, the less likely I'll be able to answer them.


4). the+比较级+of the two，表示 “两者中较……..的”；

He is the taller of the two.
他是两人中较高的那个。

She was the more promising worker of the two.
她是两人之中更有前途的工人。


⚠️四. not +比较级+ than/ no +比较级+ than辨析

A+be+not+比较级+than B：A不如B...；

A+be+no+比较级+than B：A和B一样不……。如：

He is not taller than me.
他不如我高。

He is no taller than me.
他和我一样矮。

His English is not better than mine.
他的英语不如我好。

His English is no better than mine.
他的英语和我的英语一样不好。
