One day: ceremony & reception(like
a party of the wedding)

You may be invited to the ceremony and reception, or may just be invited to the ceremony. Sometimes, people only invite their close friends and family to the reception，because the reception can be quite expensive, to pay for food. So if the couple is poor, they may just invite you to the ceremony, after ceremony, you can go, it’s done.

Ceremony (30-45mins)
When you go to the ceremony, you should arrive early. The timing is really important, you should arrive 30mins early.

You’re gonna see someone sitting at a table with a guest book, all the guests sign the guest book, and you can ask “is there a gift table?”

Then the usher will escort you to your seat, he will show where you should sit.

Just sit there, and you will hear some music, that means the ceremony is starting , and you’re going to see the groom walking out in front of the church with his groomsmen. Then the usher will bring the bridesmaids down the aisle.

Then you will hear some different music,the bride is going to walk in, and her father will escort her.

The pastor will give a short sermon (/‘sɝmən/ a talk given as part of a Christian church service, usually on a religious or moral subject)
The couple will say their vows👉then they will exchange rings,👉then they will sign wedding document👉 kiss 👉end
